Located within Braintree Conservation Area, and surrounded by Grade 1 and Grade 2-listed buildings, this proposal looks at the redevelopment of the former Crittall family Ironmongers, which is now currently occupied by New Look. Through extensive research and consultation with the local planning and heritage teams, we have carefully shaped a proposal that draws on the history and legacy of both the site and the surrounding area to develop 11 new town-centre homes centred around a communal courtyard, offering all units dual-aspect and access to private amenity space.

The development will introduce much-needed housing while maintaining a flexible ground-floor commercial unit, contributing to the vitality of this key shopping street.
