A New Mixed-Use Development in Southall

SWAP has proposed a high-quality mixed-use development in Southall, featuring 116 BTR apartments and the re-provision of the existing Hambrough Tavern on the ground floor. The design, inspired by the art pottery of the renowned Martin Brothers, combines vibrant terracotta cladding with intricate window details to create a unique and contextually sensitive architectural response.

Ranging from one to seventeen stories, the development includes rooftop amenities and a lower first-floor communal spaces. The design embraces historic influences with modern design, enhancing the local public realm and serving as a gateway to Southall's. Through extensive consultation and a deep connection to local heritage, Hambrough Tavern promises to encourage community growth, economic investment, and a lasting architectural legacy.
