SWAP has submitted a planning application for The Sidings, an exciting mixed-use development in East Dulwich, Southwark. Transforming a prime brownfield site near East Dulwich station, the project will deliver 53 affordable homes, 360 purpose-built student studios, and 1,220 sq.m of flexible workspace.

Designed in collaboration with Southwark Council and local stakeholders, The Sidings thoughtfully integrates with the area’s architectural character. The development features buildings ranging from two to eight storeys, complete with rooftop amenities and communal spaces. Inspired by East Dulwich’s heritage, the design incorporates decorative brickwork and carefully considered detailing to create a welcoming, human-scaled environment.
